For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

A rekindling experience of love through imagery.

Jamie & Mike cute B&B wedding | Wedding Photographer Monroe Files Photography

If you remember...I did Jamie and Mike's engagement photos out at Kyle Lake the Wednesday after my wedding. We had so much fun and the leaves were awesome! http://monroefiles.blogspot.com/2008/10/meet-mike-jamie.html

Speed ahead 8 months, and Mike & Jamie tied the knot at The Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast.(http://www.gloryinn.com/) This cute and charming bed and breakfast is tucked into the South Side of Pittsburgh. I could easily stay there a weekend to kick my feet up and dive into a good book! The food was fabulous and the inn keeper a doll :)
And the shenanigans begin!

Welcome to the Morning Glory Inn!

The isle leading to the wedding ceremony.

A handsome and nervous groom!

Wedding dress loveliness!

The gorgeous bride!

Flowers traveled all the way from DuBois, April's Flowers.

She's looking a bit nervous!

Beautiful :)

A couple of cuties :)

This one makes me smile, too cute!

I love how her earings, necklace and tiara matched the stitching on her gown.

Beautiful bride, Mike's a lucky man!

Another fave!

"Honk for a kiss!"

Hehe, father of the bride. Couldn't resist!

Kisses from Mom

I didn't think Dad wanted to kiss his cheek. :P

More cuties!

They shared an intimate dinner on the balcony.
I snuck up for a photo, shh!

The cake also survived the trip from DuBois, Judy Huey's Sweet Creations.
(and it was yummy too!!)

Grandpa's are the best!

Yeeeaaa, BOI!

Family photo op!

First dance.

Quick dance with Dad.

Just a little nature for ya... | Nature Photographer Monroe Files Photography

One of my unidentified plants outside the house bloomed these yellow flowers!

Morning dew. Not to be confused with Mountain Dew. :P

Meet Alanna! | Portfolio Photographer Monroe Files Photography

Alanna contacted me on myspace asking for some photos to start a portfolio. She suggested we hit Parker Dam. I was super excited because I haven't been to Parker Dam in years and it would be a new photography adventure!
I must admit, I was very bummed to see they replaced the play ground and the infamous tire swings. It wasn't a fun day at Parker Dam til you came home with black shins and feet! :D

First stop, play ground!

Next stop, the look out over Parker Dam.

Black & white?

Or color? LOVE Alanna's eyes!

It looks like she's going to fall into water :)

I really like this one...

LOVE LOVE LOVE her eyes!!

Work it girl!

Catching some wind off the Dam.

Yes, we like to play on old rusty construction equipment :P

We made it to the rocks at the bottom of the Dam...
after being warned about a copper head at the bottom of the stairs. NOT so excited about that. But, we survived!

LOVE it!

I had such a blast shooting with Alanna! I have so many faves, I didn't want to bore you all posting every single one of them :) Good luck in your endeavors, and if you need more photos...you know where to find me! :D

The Kalgren bunch! | Family Photographer Monroe Files Photography

Meet the Kalgren bunch! I had so much fun spending an afternoon playing with babies and kids and "big" kids! I was a little nervous at first...with two fairly newborn babies, two bigger kids, and then the MEN! Men never like getting their picture taken. Really, it's harmless! :)

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate that day. MUCH too chilly for sun dresses and babies to be outside for long periods of time. So we decided to use the downstairs for some family photos. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Gwen loves baby Ava!

So precious!

These were our quick few outside...too sunny and too cold. :-/
But, this is still cute, they look like peas in a pod!

I love babies!!

Proud big Bro and big Sis!

Typical male, always keeping one eye open for trouble!
Such cuties!

Parker was great at making every imaginable face possible :)

Oh boy....look out! Heartbreakers :)

These were too cute, I had to post another!

Parker looks like a cabage patch kid!
I want to take him home! (My hubby would kill me! Haha)

I love Ava's pouty face with pretty doe eyes.

Dan and his beautiful girlies! All pretty in pink...

Joe and his beautiful wife and two handsome boys...who I am sure will be trouble :)

Tooo cute!

Grandpa and his g-kids!

Grandma and her g-kids!

Jo Ann & Kelly, how BLUE are her eyes??

Hot momma's! Holding the wrong kid :)

Oh Amanda...the shenanigans you got in the middle of growing up.
I can only imagine!

Dan and his baby girls.

Joe and his handsome boys.

Thank you for letting me spend a fun filled afternoon with you all! And play with your kids :D
