For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

A rekindling experience of love through imagery.

Monroe Files Photography has been published !

I am SUPER excited to share that Monroe Files Photography has been published on the front cover of the 2010 Pennsylvania Newspaper Directory! I was contacted earlier in the year and told they were going to use 2 of the photos I submitted on the cover. They finally have their site updated and copies are ready to be sent out. Boy was I surprised when I saw the cover for the first time and found THREE of my photos being used!

*happy dance!!*

You can check out this year's PNA directory here:

And see my photos rocking it out! =)

Here are the three photos on the cover:

Florida Trip | Travel Monroe Files Photography

Just thought I'd torture everyone with some photos from our trip to Florida this past May. :D

Cocoa Beach, FL.

Lots of jelly fish at the beach.

I love the ocean!

Crab!

Watching a guy fish and scoping out dinner from his bucket.

Yes, we went to Florida and saw cows. Jealous? :)

I was NOT excited to get on that ride and ended up loving it!

Epcot. Postcard? Check!

Saw this little guy at Animal Kingdom.

Tree of Life. Such a cool idea!

Elephant is part of the tree carvings, but it looks ridiculously real!

Hibiscus :)

Black dolphin? Check! LOVE SEA WORLD!
Wish it was still in Ohio, I'd be there all the time!

The sting ray tank. They looked like they were flying.
I could have stood there and watched them swim for hours!

LOVE this picture! Manatees!

Happy Easter!

Last weekend, the Rockton Park had their Annual Easter Egg hunt, open to any child who could attend. We had 36 egg hunters come out for the occassion. There were bikes, bunnies, bubbles, chocolate prizes and snacks for those who attended. It starts promptly at 2:00 PM, as the kids get restless and want to start egg hunting!

Miss Rylee grabbing some eggs!

Rylee passed a few on to mommy, gave up on all eggs under the bench and was more interested in opening them. :)

This little girl was on a mission!

Still going!

This girl had her bucket full by the time all the eggs were gone. Note to Mom: Next year, bigger bucket!

Too cute!

Everyone opening eggs, looking for the tickets that says you won a prize!

She made out pretty good!

I love this photo! New furry bunny friend, can't have enough of those!

Getting some cookies after all that running around finding eggs.

Bike winner, Rylee! Her legs need to grow some!

Another bike winner, his legs also need to grow :)

Daffy.

Jabroni, the first swim of the season!

He was in his glory. That's the look of one content Mr. JB!

JB and Izzy watching Hoyt jump off the dock!

We had some nosy neighbors while the pups were swimming.

Good morning! From my deck to your desk top :)

Chicky cake pops! This guy was a flat head, but still tasted delish!

And this guy has one HUGE SCHNAW-ZZZ! :D
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Happy Easter!!

Great Pumpkin

I'm back! I am home from my honeymoon. The week FLEW by but it was lots of fun and HOT beachy weather!
Here are some pictures that I took before I left of all the fall festivities. I need some time to get on top of weddings and my own photo stuff from the honeymoon. Please be patient, my wedding photos will come soon! In the mean time, enjoy the fall photos! (It's a little long, but it's all so pretty!)
Here are some photos from Cooper's Farm Pumpkin Festival!

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

They had a petting zoo! This little lady enjoyed snorting her oats and making my sister wear them :)

I just love her eye lashes!

Becca and a Benny Hen. This hen is so old she hasn't laid eggs in 6 years!

PUMPKINS!!

They are so cute, tiny and perfectly round!

The gourds were lots of fun too!

Their faces are too cute!

This photo makes me laugh! So nosy!

As does this one with all their butts up in the air!
Photos from the Reservoir in Home Camp.

I love the moon in this photo! On the back roads toward Home Camp.

These next photos are out by Kirk's Farm in Rockton.

Penny and Steve's backyard. These acorns are all piled to the top of a 3 gallon bucket....with LOTS more still out in the yard!

Hoyt, what are you looking at?

Like I said, this was a long one! But they are all so pretty and I just love fall! I am turning more and more into my mother. :)
