Fiesta Block Party | Event Photographer Monroe Files Photography

I'm on the promotions committee for the Down Town DuBois First Friday Events. I never made it to one last year (they were on Thursdays last summer) so I was super excited to not only make it to the Fiesta Block Party on May 7th, but also take some photos of the action!

There was a constant line for face painting. I'm surprised the two girls did not have carpel tunnel after all those cheeks and hands went through =)

Zumba looks like tons of fun! I am planning on going to a class (or a bunch!) after I am no longer pregnant. It was infectious just watching from the side lines!

The next First Friday event is June 4th and the theme is Long Avenue Cafe.

There will be live entertainment and games for the kids!

I am officially caught up after this post! Yay! These got lost in the tumble of weddings and first trimester sickness. But it's never too late to enjoy them! Plus it's nice to see some COLOR! According to my pussy willow tree and flower box...spring is officially on it's way and I could not be happier! Bring on the flowers, leaves and sunshine!

Here is Erin and Liam's Mommy and me session! I will admit I was a little nervous for this, as I do not have tons of experience with little kids, let alone a 3 month old =) But they quickly relaxed in front of the camera and my creative juices kicked in! I'm pretty sure Erin thought I was crazy when we got to the park, but that's part of the fun!

I had tons of fun taking pictures of Liam and getting crazy with my fall stuff. I LOVE fall! I was in my happy place =)

What I can't believe is how MUCH Liam has grown since then! He now has two pearly whites on the bottom and he's an army crawler. His back legs don't crawl. I think he doesn't realize they are back there yet! In due time, he will...and possibly be up walking. Look out mom! :P

I recently attended a beautiful wedding held at the Red Fern in St. Marys. I was not the paid photographer by any means, but it was a good time to try out my new lense I got for Christmas! =) Here are a few photos from the day.

The ring bearer and flower dog was *supposed* to walk down the aisle. They had other ideas!

Thankfully, the groomsman was quick on his feet and scooped his pup up and the bridesmaid followed suit. The flower girl's bloomers just crack me up!
