For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

A rekindling experience of love through imagery.

Operation Love: Flora & Chelsey | Military Photographer, Monroe Files Photography, Bilgers Rocks, PA

Monroe Files Photography is a part of Operation Love Reunited. Op:Love is a non-profit, fully volunteer organization that offers professional photography sessions to military families and members who are getting ready to deploy, who are currently deployed or those coming home.

To locate a photographer in your area please go to the Op:Love site.

"Hello, I am looking for a photographer to do pictures with through Operation Love Reunited and I saw on their website that you are a participating photographer. I thought I was going to have to go all the way to Pittsburgh! (I'm in Curwensville.) My husband is in Afghanistan right now, so the photos would just be of our daughter and myself. Let me know if I need to do anything (like if there's a form I need to fill out or something) and when you might be available to take them. I look forward to hearing from you."

And so began my journey offering military families a little slice of heaven
straight from the mailman =]

Expecting to travel clear to Pittsburgh, Chelsey was super excited to have
found me close to home and couldn't wait to surprise her husband. Their sweet pea, Flora,
was born after Daddy had already deployed and every picture of her is so precious to him.

After speaking to each other back and forth, we agreed to do the session at Bilger's Rocks in Grampian.
Our calendars matched up for the first week in October, which happened to share a special
date for this military wife, their second wedding anniversary.

And, I came to find out, not only is this their wedding anniversary...Flora's parent's got
married at Bilger's Rocks!

If you would have told Chelsey on her wedding day, that 2years from now
her darling husband would be miles and miles away and she would
be sharing the day with their beautiful 6 month old daughter,
she'd most likely be in disbelief.

Flora's Daddy has since returned home to his two beautiful girls, just in time to celebrate
Flora's first Easter and her first birthday! I hope your family received as much joy
as I did creating these portraits for you. Much love and a huge thank you
for your services =]

Proud to offer Beloved imagery to the greater DuBois area!!

Beloved is an emerging photographic genre centered on the creation of meaning-rich portraits that express the individual, beautiful personality each person is born with, creating an opportunity to celebrate the relationships that fill our lives with joy and purpose.

The Photogenic Technique of Beloved gives photographers a clear and simple way to move past the “camera smile”‘ to easily capture the authentic, photogenic expressions and the naturally beautiful sides of our personality we share with our loved ones.

The Beloved Collective serves and supports the amazing community of photographers who are integrating Beloved and Photogenic Technique into their portrait sessions through products, online training courses and an annual conference.

In addition to launching a new website the Beloved Collective has just released the first Family Field Guide, which brings the power of Photogenic Technique to the fields of family & children photography.

{ Come and see for yourself }

I am SOOOO excited to offer this experience to the greater DuBois area! It's such an amazing adventure and even more so to share it with those you love dearly. The Beloved Experience is for everyone, but I highly recommend it to couples who have been together 5 years or more. Most couples I know do not get professional images taken after they wed. They may get images taken as children come into the picture but they never truly take the time to celebrate each other. Life is so busy that often times we get into a routine of the same old, same old and roll into bed exhausted just to do it all over again tomorrow. As we try to squeeze out every second of the day, we forget to take a moment to connect with our loved ones. I'm offering you the chance to reconnect and celebrate your unique love language and I am also here to say, it's the best time you will spend squeezing every second out of. =] Here are just two images from my Beloved couples. More can be seen here.

Liam & Erin: Mommy and me! | Baby Photographer Monroe Files Photography

I am officially caught up after this post! Yay! These got lost in the tumble of weddings and first trimester sickness. But it's never too late to enjoy them! Plus it's nice to see some COLOR! According to my pussy willow tree and flower box...spring is officially on it's way and I could not be happier! Bring on the flowers, leaves and sunshine!
Here is Erin and Liam's Mommy and me session! I will admit I was a little nervous for this, as I do not have tons of experience with little kids, let alone a 3 month old =) But they quickly relaxed in front of the camera and my creative juices kicked in! I'm pretty sure Erin thought I was crazy when we got to the park, but that's part of the fun!

We borrowed the neighbor's beautiful sunflowers =)

Ehh, Mom! No kisses! Embarassing!

We were a little upset with getting photos done and in came Mr. Binkie to the rescue!

And 5 minutes after Mr. Binkie we scored a huge grin!
What a stinker!

At the park with my Mom!

LOOOOOOVE this!!
I want one of these of me and Lily!

Making faces at Mommy making faces =)

Check out that drool bubble! Bombs away!!

Erin thought I was nuts putting him on the slide...thus the scary look on his face.
He'd love the slide now!

Riding Dino with my Mommy. She loves me =)

Another fave, such a cute face!

Yep, loading them pants for Mommy and cutting the photo shoot short !
Typical male...will do anything to get out of getting his picture taken!

Another fave!!

Liam thought after pooping his pants he was done with photos...
DUN DUN DUN! Halloween outfit photo shoot time!

Hehehe, his face is priceless!

What a cutie!

So Liam wouldn't feel completely tortured (really it wasn't torture at all!), Jabroni was dressed in his Lolly Lobster get up.

"Mom. Quite giggling at me!" =)

Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Perfect baby lips and a cute button nose!

Tuckered out kids on the futon...

A boy and his puppy...a puppy and his moose...

...and even in his sleep, Liam thinks of ways to get in on some shenanigans! =)
I had tons of fun taking pictures of Liam and getting crazy with my fall stuff. I LOVE fall! I was in my happy place =)
What I can't believe is how MUCH Liam has grown since then! He now has two pearly whites on the bottom and he's an army crawler. His back legs don't crawl. I think he doesn't realize they are back there yet! In due time, he will...and possibly be up walking. Look out mom! :P
