I met Kate & Terry through a college friend who I am photographing her wedding next year. I was not Kate & Terry's first choice for their wedding. They had already put a deposit down and had their engagement portraits taken with Richard Soukup. Richard experienced a heart attack and passed away in January. (As time went by, his wife also passed away in June of this year.) I heard their story from Leslie and could not imagine trying to find a photographer only 4 months before the wedding! After doing some digging, I was also shocked to learn Richard is the same age as my father. I feel like my father is too young to be a candidate for heart attacks. =/
I spoke with a very frantic and frazzled Kate on the phone Super Bowl Sunday. After taking ten minutes or so of calming her down, we set up a date to meet and go over her wishes and what I offer. Long story short, they fell in love and I had them on my schedule. She was one of my most EXCITED brides and so ready to just DO this! =]
Kate & Terry got married at Saint Tobias Catholic Church Brockway with the reception immediately following at the Brockwayville Depot in Brockway.

I love a roudy bunch of groomsmen! I only caught the tail end of the story
and I know I wouldn't do it justice. Let's just say they had been tail
gating since they got to the church!
Beautiful Mommy, with her beautiful daughter, Kelsey, peaking at me.
Kate's mom was a champ and got the groomsmen squared away with
the boutineers. Here she is working on her husband's flower.

I believe it was Lady GaGa that got him dancing!
Lots of cute kids here!
Yes ladies, he put the garter on her leg with his TEETH!
Don't worry, they are dating =]
The groomsman's face in the back is hilarious!!
Mr. & Mr. Freemer
Beautiful Bride
Thank you Kate & Terry for letting me swoop in and save the day!
God timed the rain perfect: it started pouring right at ceremony start
and thundered through out. It was bright and sunny when their
ceremony was over. =]
