Here some pictures from the State College Bridal Show at the Ramada Inn. I must say, I was not as impressed with this show as compared to last year. There were countless photograghers, florists and DJs there. It was missing....something. Alot of the vendors skipped out on this event, thanks to the Bryce Jordan Center that will be hosting, a now annual, Bridal Expo in September.
My favorite vendor for cakes (besides Judy Huey of course!), Delectable Delights by Heather Luse of Centre Hall. http://www.blogger.com/www.delectabledelightsbyheather.com Her hubby is a real talker and I got allll the scoop on this wonderful and amazing woman and her many business endeavors. I highly suggest you check out her website. If you are fortunate enough to be within their delivery distance, BOOK HER! Not only do they do cakes, they do cookies, cup cakes and the good Lord only knows what else! Her booth speaks for its self!
And in case you didn't notice, she was 2007's Knot Best of Wedding pick!
Looove this table of decor from Avant Garden in downtown State College! I can just smell the oranges looking at it! Isn't it amazing that something as simple as tall slender vases filled with oranges and water is so beautiful and elegant?? http://www.avantgardenfloral.com/state-college-florist/winter-flowers-93c.asp
Another one of my favorite vendors...Daniel Vaughn Designs located by Wegmans in State College. His work is breath takingly elegant and amazing! Last year his booth was all sand, seashells and chocolate! I can't think of a better mix myself! http://www.blogger.com/www.danielvaughndesigns.com

She does simple....
...to very involved! Look at the detail!
Looking for wedding and party rentals? Look no further! Pegasus by Sharon Shaffer will assist you in achieving any wedding look for your reception! http://weddingpartyrentals.biz/
This was my favorite from her booth. I'm craving sun and sand right about now!!
Another awesome florist...Narbers Floral Company of Boalsburg. http://www.narber.com/ They went with a very springy theme this year. Very elegant and tasteful.
I love the tall center pieces. It makes those sitting at the table able to enjoy a conversation with those opposite the center piece. You choose a center piece that is big and sits down low, it puts a wall between your guests. You want people to mingle and enjoy each others company, not hinder it!
That's all I have for excitement from the Bridal Show. Like I said, it was a little disappointing this year. I feel bad that I talked it up so much. Last year it was huge. They had one room completely closed off that was open last year. I can name a handful of vendors that did not attend.
BUT! Those brides who did go, got a lot of great ideas, hopefully won some great prizes and enjoyed a day out with the girls!
