For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

A rekindling experience of love through imagery.

Mike and Megan was one of my winners for the 2011 engagement story contest!
Here's their story, as told by Megan....

"On July 24, 2011, after 4 years of dating, Mike planned the whole proposal out. He had my best friend tell me three weeks prior to July 24  that he had talked to her and told her he was going to propose to me on August 10. Needless to say I was counting down!!!!"

"So, on July 24, I had a Purse Party that day and he was supposed to meet me after and my best friend from DuBois and her fiance were coming down and we were all going to go out to dinner. I told him to meet us at 4. Well needless to say, he didn't show up. So then, he called me frantically saying that his car had broken down and I had to rush to Alameda Park because none of his family could come get him."

"So, I rushed down and I pulled up to the back of his blazer as he had instructed me to do because the hood was supposedly smoking. I saw a sign that said "Go to the Hood" so I cautiously did thinking that he was going to jump out. Then there was a sign on the hood that said follow the rope. So I followed this rope and it came to my surprise that the shelter was decorated and there was no Mike in sight."

"He decorated a shelter at Alameda Park with candles and potpourri. He had a rose and a wrapped gift at the end of the shelter. I read the card and the gift was a framed poem that he had written me. As soon as I turned around, he walked up behind me and gave me a little speech and then asked me to marry him."

" It was so wonderful and perfect (except for the fact he dropped the ring since he opened the box upside down and he didn't notice it!). It was better than anything I ever imagined!"

And a little more news for these two....they are EXPECTING! Yea! I seriously have the baby touch.
You have been forewarned. If my brides to be aren't pregnant on their wedding day, they are pregnant soon after. =]

Kate really wanted snowy pictures...and by golly she got it!

The cute (and also a bit pouty today!) Kelsey

Hard to believe you were pregnant and waiting anxiously for Kaley to
make her appearance! PS. We were super lucky with the snow.
Mildest winter EVER last year! It snowed once in November and
I swear it never snowed again.

Probably one of the coolest weddings I've done to date.

Rock slab for guest book? Check. Complete with velvet pumpkins
and a beady eyed vulture...

Mr. & Mrs. Bones, dressed dashingly for the occasion. A cake topper
of skeletal proportions....

A wedding cake castle, whose graveyard pays tribute to loved ones long gone...

Nothing is more creepy or makes your skin crawl,
than walking through cobwebs in the trees...

A ring bearer who bucked the tradition of carrying a pillow...
and opted for a bone chilling hand instead...

Ghouls in training =]

Yes. YES. The bride wore a stunning all black gown shipped across the big
pond. The glittery detail was very spider web like.

Guests were encouraged to dress for the occasion accordingly...fancy dresses for
the bridal party and parents of the couple...while others opted for a more
masked attire.

The bride stealing a moment with her Grandpa...er....GrandMA

Ghastly groomsmen...

Barbarous bridesmaids...

The brides bouquet was hand crafted herself and included purple lights.
The groom wore a boutineer that was a very glitzy skeleton.

This sweet sweet couple was the Bride's grandparents. They came dressed as each other
and it was truly HILARIOUS! Grandpa really went above and beyond as a woman!

Jen went to Gannon with my biffle, Ayren. So she is my biffle's biffle =]

Noah came into the world in April a VERY large baby, and cute as the dickens!

Jen & Chris are extremely fortunate to have sweet Noah in their lives.

While his Grammy was watching him, he had a SIDS attack and thankfully
Grammy went in to check on him.

After MANY loooong days and nights at Children's in Pittsburgh,
Noah was finally allowed to come home!

Everyday is still an uphill battle for both Noah and his parents.

There have been celebrations and set backs throughout his young life,
but he continues to make progress. =] *And I root for you
every day!!*

I know that God will perform many miracles throughoutNoah's life time.

Noah, you are truly a gift from God. Do not let your illnesses get in the way of what you
want to do with your life. Your parents are two tough cookies and it would mean
everything in the world to them when you finally wrap your arms around their
neck for a sweet sweet baby hug.

Hannah turns one! | Portrait Photographer, Monroe Files Photography State College, PA

Who is SUPER behind in blogging? THIS girl! It's tough work trying to find time to blog with a full time job, plus photography, plus Thirty One Gifts business, plus a husband and an extremely active two year old ! Then throw in remodeling the house and putting it up on the market for sale...it's down right pure craziness!
Hopefully things are a little more calm around here...so let's get caught up, shall we?

Meet Miss Hannah. Hannah Banana. Hanner Nanner.
Who quite possibly be, the cutest black kitty last Halloween.

It's hard to believe you turned one so fast...

But it's even harder to believe you are turning TWO in a few short weeks!
