For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

A rekindling experience of love through imagery.

Great Pumpkin

I'm back! I am home from my honeymoon. The week FLEW by but it was lots of fun and HOT beachy weather!
Here are some pictures that I took before I left of all the fall festivities. I need some time to get on top of weddings and my own photo stuff from the honeymoon. Please be patient, my wedding photos will come soon! In the mean time, enjoy the fall photos! (It's a little long, but it's all so pretty!)
Here are some photos from Cooper's Farm Pumpkin Festival!

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

They had a petting zoo! This little lady enjoyed snorting her oats and making my sister wear them :)

I just love her eye lashes!

Becca and a Benny Hen. This hen is so old she hasn't laid eggs in 6 years!

PUMPKINS!!

They are so cute, tiny and perfectly round!

The gourds were lots of fun too!

Their faces are too cute!

This photo makes me laugh! So nosy!

As does this one with all their butts up in the air!
Photos from the Reservoir in Home Camp.

I love the moon in this photo! On the back roads toward Home Camp.

These next photos are out by Kirk's Farm in Rockton.

Hoyt, what are you looking at?

Behind Mike and Jamie's again.

Like I said, this was a long one! But they are all so pretty and I just love fall! I am turning more and more into my mother. :)

Bridesmaids trash the dress! | Trash the Dress Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

After my bridal shower, we took all my 'maids and went around Rockton to trash the dress! It was a great time and we are hoping to do "Trash the dress 2!" summer of '09! Here are a few pictures I can take claim to from the day!
Miss Sarah Nelson, starting off on our parade arond Rockton in Grampa Tom's truck. It was the most babes that truck has ever had in the back!

She felt like Miss America, as we drove around Rockton beeping and screaming :)

Emily, laughing as we continue are trash the dress parade!
What do you wear to trash a dress???

Crocs that match your dress, of course!!

All the lovely ladies getting ready to get dirty at Jamie's house! (You can get the scoop on the house here: http://straubsweethome.blogspot.com/ )

Jamie taking some of our props back to Mike's shed.

Ayren with windblown hair as we head to Brown Springs from Home Camp Road.

Ayren showing off her blue crocks in all the greenness...

She was excited about how green everything is!

Miss Sarah, getting down and wet in Brown Springs! She wore the dress that just would not get dirty!

Jamie, and if you look closely you can see a tiny bit of her rain boots she was wearing :)

Ayren walking down the spring to the swimming hole. Another one of my favorites!Miss Jamie, riding in the back of the truck. One of my favorties!

The day was just not long enough to do the bridal shower, trash dresses and bachelorette party! It was a wonderful day, full of lots of smiles, laughs and hugs.
Anyone up for dress trashing in the snow?? :D Kidding! You all know how much I don't like winter and hate being cold! If someone else wants to venture...by all means! I will be behind the camera with 5 layers of clothes a winter coat, boots, gloves, hat and snow pants. With some hot chocolate and peanut butter toast awaiting our arrival back at the house :P

Mary Pat & friends trash the dress! | Trash the Dress Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

I appologize for the extreme lack of updates! I have been ridiculously busy with wedding stuff! The big day has since past (Oct. 11,2008). Unfortunately, I will be away from the internet after Oct. 19th for our honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean! CAN'T WAIT!! Much deserved and needed vacation =)
On with the photo show, these are photos from Mary Pat's trash the dress session. I want to offer this service to my brides who I share their special day with...but unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share. Now I do!
These photos were taken in St. Mary's, PA, back Old Burndale Road. I had no idea that this cute little water shed and stream was off the main road to St. Mary's! What little treasures one can find =)
Kelly working it!

The water was a little chilly...

Shelby's friend...I don't remember her name (Sorry!) The girls wanted in on the fun and found some fun Halloweenie costumes to wear!

Miss Kelly.

She's a photographer...I think it shows!

I love how her dress almost glows!

Family.

Such a pretty dress!

I love all the buttons down her back...

That would be mud on her face. Her and the girls got into a mud slinging fight!

Ow ow!!

Sexy leg!
Mother and Daughter.

This tatoo is a tribute to Mary Pat's brothers who are no longer with us. She endured great pain and suffering for this tatoo....she was allergic to the ink and had hives for two days. The tatoo is not complete, but she's afraid to go in because she had such a strong alergic reaction the first time.

Pretty pretty!

Alot of bling going on!

Another one of my favorites =)

CUUUUTE!! Mommy and Damien. Both with mud on their faces. =)Beautiful baby blues!

Mary Pat and her hubby Jason. Too cute!! Having some fun in the water! One of my favorites! Kelly is such a cutie!

Thank you all for a wonderful time and a trip into the woods of St. Mary's! I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as I did =)

My niece Lanie | Baby Photographer Monroe Files Photography DuBois, PA

Sorry for the lack of updates! Things have been crazy over here! I finally got a job. Not at the top of my list, but I am chalking it all up to experience. Sears Portrait Studio. I kind of feel like a sell out. I don't believe you can really do great photos in a time slot of 15 minutes. But that seems to be the philosphy there. If anything, once I am finished there (I am only temporary Christmas help and once January gets here...SEE YA! I get the boot!) I can say I have studio experience and more time behind the camera and also sales experience. Both are good for me. BUT the job search must continue on....$7.15 an hour does not pay for four years of Penn State and pay for a house for my fiance and I to live in...
Speaking of fiance, ONE MONTH TIL THE WEDDING! :D It's really coming fast! I am excited! Maybe more so for the honeymoon since we both haven't been on a vacation since 2006 and I feel WAY over due for some beach laying sunbathing goodness!
I am also considering giving the good old blog, facebook and myspace Monroe Files sites a face lift/make over or something. It's been the same since I started in January and I think it's time for something new. I am more seasoned now, with more photos under my belt...I can come up with something good I am sure!
But, to keep you kiddies occupied, here are some pictures of my niece, Lanie. She is 6 and a half months old. She spent the night at Gram and Pops house while mommy was visiting daddy at his new job in Pittsbugh. Of course I not only had to come and visit my one and only niece, but I had to bring the camera in tow!
Sleepy girl! That would be those "oh-so-yummy" sweet potatos on her nose.

Grabbing a toy while laying on her belly.

She's either looking for "puppy" or staring at Becca doing something weird.

The closest I got to a smile on camera. The little stinker is SUPER ticklish. I got her to laugh out loud for me once. All other attempts ended in her red faced, grunting or screaming...any thing but letting out a giggle. Turd.

And my FAVORITE!! Tooooo cute!
